Glen provided wonderful dinner music. I really appreciated him going the extra mile with calling out the tables for dinner and the wonderful upbeat mix of music he played for all of the guests. For the Photo Booth, everyone loved how high quality the pictures were, that each individual received their own printout (which really impressed me as well), the props were a lot of fun and overall they loved how fun the booth experience was! A lot of people were disappointed that I ended the evening so early, and truthfully, I have never had such a large group stay so late! I would not only recommend Musical Twist DJ Service and Twisted Photobooths to everyone I speak to, I also look forward to working with your family again to create another memorable event!

I would highly recommend Musical Twist DJ to anyone looking for DJ services for any event! The Allen family were extraordinarily responsive to emails, professional and fun! The value for the service they bring is fantastic, and they have many levels of service that clients can choose from! Not only is Musical Twist DJ service awesome, but they were able to help me out in a very last minute and important way.The day before my wedding (on December 28th, 2013), my guitar player was admitted to the hospital with H1N1. I was without music for my ceremony & cocktail hour. I contacted the Allen’s and within an hour they returned my email with a phone call (again, over Christmas holidays) and stepped up in my time of need! They came out super early on the day of, set up in a different room for my ceremony, and did a fantastic job for the ceremony. Following the ceremony they very quickly changed buildings for my cocktail hour and continued to play lovely music. The dance was SO fun, my guests didn’t leave the dance floor all night long! They very much listened to my “do not play list” and played all my favorites throughout the night! They have an excellent and throughout event planner package that allows anyone (bride/groom/event organizer) organize a fantastic dance. It is without hesitation that I recommend Musical Twist DJ Service. They are friendly, professional, prompt, kind and caring vendors. They went above and beyond for our wedding, and we are so thankful.

Musical Twist did an amazing job at our wedding. They were extremely professional and organized, and helped us with a great wedding planner schedule. They even did a site visit with us to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted and where to set up their equipment. On the day of our wedding they put together an amazing set and ensured our dance floor was always packed. Several of our guests commented on how great they were too. Musical Twist DJs were an absolute pleasure to work with, from planning to the actual wedding day. During the planning stage, they were always easy to get in touch with, flexible in their planning options and full of helpful advice. Pam was incredibly warm and detail-oriented, which means I was confident that nothing would be missed or flubbed on the big day. We had had some communication issues with our venue coordinator, and when she found out about this, Pam even offered to come along to the reception if we needed extra help with practicalities. At the wedding itself, DJs Glen and Cameron were excellent. Glen was open to last-minute changes (we decided not to have a grand entrance at the cocktail reception – people were trickling in and the bridesmaids were starving! We also switched some timing things around because our photographer was only booked until 9). The DJs had an excellent read on the dance floor and knew how to keep it lively. Glen was also aware of the makeup of the crowd; at one point we had planned a small game wherein married couples were slowly eliminated from the dance floor until the longest-married couple were to remain. However Glen noticed, rightly, that most of our older couples had left by this point and that the next generation of couples included a few divorced and remarried couples. So he checked with me to see if we still wanted to play the game – which we decided not to, as it would not have had the intended effect. Glen and Cameron were both incredibly professional and capable. They were clearly very experienced and it was just so nice to be able to relax and let them do their thing. They were also friendly, however, and a pleasure to work with. We were lucky to have found a lot of great vendors for our wedding, but Musical Twist was for sure a standout. I will be recommending them left, right and centre to friends who get married in the future.
